FAQS

Q1: Controller does not respond (no sound/indicator) when main power is turned on

Troubleshooting

  1. Verify correct wiring of main power lines (Red-Live, Blue-Neutral, Yellow/Green-Ground)
  2. Check for interference from third-party wall switches (remove if installed)
  3. Test voltage at controller input port with multimeter (Normal: 110-120V)
Fix: Replace controller if all checks pass

Q2: The controller beeps, the remote control continues to beep but the fan does not turn.

  • Motor power lines disconnected (Check Purple/Red/Grey wire connections)
  • Motor winding short circuit (Test coil resistance with ohmmeter)
Action: Reconnect motor wires → Replace motor if issue persists

Q3: Remote control buttons do not respond (indicator light on)

  1. Turn ON power to the fan.
  2. Within 10 seconds, press and hold the controller’s pair button for 5 seconds.
  3. Release after the beep, then test all functions.

Q4: The fan works fine but the light is out of control

  • Test Mode: Operate light separately with fan off
  • Circuit Check: Verify power on Blue/White wires with voltage tester
Conclusion: Replace LED module if circuit intact

Q5: Abnormal fan speed (slow/random)

  1. Ensure no simultaneous use of wall/remote controls
  2. Reset controller: Power off for 30s then reboot
  3. Check controller wiring

Q6: Fan shakes noticeably

  1. Cross-rotate blades & retighten screws
  2. Apply counterweight stickers to blade roots

Q7: Friction noise during high-speed operation

  • Top Noise: Adjust clearance between canopy & bracket with silicone spacer
  • Mid Noise: Check blade-to-motor housing gap, straighten deformed parts
  • Bottom Noise: Remove decorative cover, replace damper ring

Q8: Why can’t the light dim or brighten?

Press and hold the Brightness + / – button to adjust dimming.

Q9: Does the fan have a memory function?

Yes. Turn the fan off, wait 5 seconds, then turn it on—it will restore the last fan and light settings.

Q10: Can I connect the fan to a standard AC wall switch?

Yes. The receiver has a built-in AC-DC converter, so a standard toggle (on/off) AC wall switch can be used for power.

Q11: Can I use another brand’s fan wall controller?

No. Third-party controllers may be incompatible (protocol mismatch/garbled control). Use the Haipeel wireless wall control or a standard toggle switch.

Q12: For lighted models, can I bypass the receiver and wire the light to a separate wall switch?

Yes, but then the remote can’t control the light, and dimming may not work depending on the wall switch type.

Q13: Power-on beeps once and remote operation beeps twice, but the fan doesn’t run—what should I do?

This usually indicates a receiver–motor mismatch. Please contact support with photos of the motor label and receiver label; we’ll arrange a matching replacement receiver.
